How to get yourself more comfortable with Direct TV

I have create a Direct TV information website to share with my site visitors such as Direct TV Manual, information about Direct TV Equipments and the packages that Direct TV offered. I have also create few discussion topics to allow my site visitors to share their experience with the Direct TV with me. Overall, lot of them claims that they are not aware of if they terminate the Direct TV service within 2 years they will be impose a penalty fees from Direct TV. Some of them also complain that the Direct TV installer had install the dish at the wrong position - etc , block their window views. Here are some of the tips that might be helpful to you. * Make sure you have think carefully before chose the package that suits you. You will need to sign up a 2 years contract with Direct TV before taking their service. You will be impose a penalty fees if you decide to terminate their service before end of the contract duration. Most of the time, the Direct TV sales representative won't mention to you there will be a 2 years contract; of course, they also won't tell you about the penalty fees if you didn't ask. You know, this statement will make them more difficult to close deal with you. * I suggest you to stay with the Direct TV installer and plan ahead yourself on where the dish you want it to located in your house. Why? The installer is just a normal human being like you and me; he will complete his installation task in his most convenience way. End result? He will try to install the dish at the closest location from where your Direct TV receiver located so that he no need to pull the wire so long. The dish might end up located too low that block your window views or unable to receive the signal strongly and you will get a blur TV picture. To prevent this happen, plan yourself where your dish is located and tell the installer upfront before he start to do his installation works. For your information, Direct TV will install for your free if the dish is located within 125ft from your Direct TV receiver. Of course, ask the sales representative on the exact length and ask him to shown you this statement black and white from the contract before you pay them. Roughly calculate the distance yourself so that you can roughly plan your dish location before the arrival of the installer. It is better not to locate your dish too high, at least you can reach it with your broom. Why? So that during the winter time when you can clean the snow that stick on your Direct TV Dish with your broom to prevent your dish receive weak or no signals that make you unable to watch your favorite Direct TV Shows during wintertime. You can also spray the WT40 liquids on your Dish so that the snow doesn’t stick on your dish so easily. * Do not let the installer leave or sign any documents until the whole installation process done, and try to test and use the system by yourself, ask him whatever you like so that make yourself familiar with the control of whole system. Do not be shy, if you do not ask him now, you will need to call the Direct TV customer service phone call that will ask you to go through a series of DIY Manual on the phone before you can reach a live support. * Make sure you check Direct TV that your house is within Direct TV coverage area; I have heard from one of my site visitors that after he sign up the direct TV package, then he realize his house is a bit far from Direct TV coverage area. He get a weak signal and blur TV picture while he watch Direct TV program, to save his money, he decided to cancel the Direct TV supscriptions and end up he was imposed penalty fees by Direct TV because of want to terminate the service in less than 2 years. You know, the contract is made by Direct TV; of course the term and condition in the contract will more on their side since they are the one who pay lawyer to bind the contract. So, it is better help yourself by check the coverage area before sign up. Most sales representatives will be more concern on their sales commissions instead of your house is within Direct TV coverage area or not. *Make sure you only sign up the package that you really need. The 2 years contract only allow you to upgrade your Direct TV packages, not downgrade. For further understanding, you can share the Direct TV experience that contributed by my site visitors at Direct TV Comments Section
